André F. Raine, Ph.D. is the project manager for an endangered seabird project on the island of Kaua‘i, where he has worked since 2011. He focuses on the conservation of seabird species, as well as assisting similar projects on Lāna‘i and Hawai‘i Island. Originally from Bermuda, he has led conservation projects around the World including the Peruvian Amazon, the plains of Zambia, and the moorlands of England. He is the author of many scientific publications, as well as several photographic bird guides.
