Les Beletsky, Ph.D., is an ornithologist and the series editor of the Travelers’ Wildlife Guides (Interlink Books) and is the author of Bird Songs: 250 North American Birds in Song (Chronicle, 2006), Bird Songs From Around the World (Chronicle, 2008), and Birds of the World (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2005). He is a visiting scholar at the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture, University of Washington.
